A native of Ottawa, Sarah comes to the Shaw Centre with experience in both the hospitality and tourism industry, as well as sports and entertainment. A passion for writing and communications led her to Toronto where she received an Advanced Diploma in Public Relations from Humber College and graduated with Honours. She found her way back to her hometown of Ottawa where she began a career in marketing at Brookstreet, a four-diamond boutique hotel. In this position, she significantly expanded the hotel’s social media reach, assisted in a brand refresh, and participated in events such as the annual Lumiere Charity Gala.
Most recently, Sarah spent three years working for the Ottawa Senators in brand marketing where career highlights included managing all signage elements for the new Club Bell premium seating area in Canadian Tire Centre, assisting in the execution of brand activations such as the Red Zone during Stanley Cup playoffs, completing marketing campaigns for a variety of programs, and securing media sponsorships.
In her spare time, Sarah enjoys exploring Ottawa’s ever-evolving food scene with her close friends, supporting local Ottawa makers, going to yoga, and taking runs along the Rideau Canal.
