Charlene brings with her a vast and expansive wealth of experience including 13 years with the Nova Scotia provincial government holding various positions such as, Special Assistant to the Premier of Nova Scotia,  Human Resources Consultant at the Public Services Commission, Regional Outreach Facilitator at the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada, Executive Assistant to the Senior Vice President, Customer Experience at Bell Canada, Cultural Coordinator for the Department of Tourism & Culture and Planning & Operations Coordinator in the aftermath of the crash of SwissAir Flight 111.

Charlene moved to Ottawa in 2015 and has held contract positions at the Canadian Airports Council and the Canadian Centre for Policy Alternatives.  Her extensive work experiences are complimented by her achievement of a CPHR designation as a Certified Professional in Human Resources.  She also holds certificates in Leading Complex Change and Marketing from St. Mary’s University.

Charlene is an avid traveler who has traveled in five continents through countries such as Argentina, Egypt, Turkey, West Africa, France, England, Belgium, Switzerland, and Morocco.  Charlene stays active with a special fondness for running and aqua fitness.
