A native from Ottawa and alumni of Algonquin College Events Management certificate program, Christina brings a unique and diverse background to the Shaw Centre. Christina’s all-encompassing experience working with venues, restaurants, festivals, and catering service provides her with a distinct perspective and edge when it comes to planning events.

Christina’s passion for the arts led her to pursue positions with Ottawa Bluesfest, Ottawa International Film Festival, Edinburgh International Film Festival, and TIFF where she coordinated several events and worked with a variety of venues. She also worked abroad in Scotland for a few years in restaurant management before moving back to Canada’s capital.

Most recently, Christina transferred her event management skills to the catering industry working for a full-service, off-premise catering company in the National Capital Region before finding her way to the Shaw Centre.

When Christina isn’t busy planning your next meeting or event, you can catch her practicing yoga or playing the ukulele.
